What we hold about you, and how to make us stop.

We write to people one at a time, about something specific to their business. This page says what we keep to do that, where it comes from and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are.

Working Mono Ltd, company number 16644490, registered at 70 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5BG, United Kingdom. We decide how this information is used. Write to alex@workingmono.com about anything on this page.

What we keep about people we write to.

Your name, job title, company, work email address and LinkedIn profile address. Public facts about your company that gave us a reason to write, such as a job advert, a news story or a page on its website. The messages between us, and notes from any call we have.

We do not look for or keep anything about your private life, and nothing in the special categories of personal data.

Where it comes from.

From you, when you write to us or book a call. From public sources: your company’s website and job adverts, LinkedIn and the news. From business contact data providers, currently GetLeads, Prospeo, Datagma and Icypeas, which also check whether a work email address is real.

Why we use it.

To tell you about work we think is relevant to your role and your business, and to keep track of our conversation with you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses. We have weighed that against your interests: each email is written for one person, about their business, and stops the moment you ask.

In the UK we write cold only to people at businesses with more than ten staff, never to sole traders.

Links in our emails.

Links to our website and our booking page carry a short code, so we can see which email led to a visit or a booked call. Our website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not store your IP address.

Who else sees it.

Only the companies that run the tools we work in: our email and calendar (Google Workspace), the services we send email through (Smartlead and Zapmail), the service that connects our LinkedIn and email accounts (Unipile), the contact data providers above, our database and hosting (Supabase, Railway, Hetzner and Vercel), our CRM (Attio), our call notes (Granola), and the AI models from OpenAI and others that help us research companies and draft messages, used with settings that stop them training on what we send. We never sell or rent your information.

Some of these companies are based in, or process data in, the United States.

How long we keep it.

If we have not been in touch for two years, we delete your details. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only what we need to make sure that stays true.

What you can ask us to do.

Stop: reply “stop” to any email, or write to alex@workingmono.com. We add you to our do-not-contact list at once and every message we send is checked against it. You can also ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to limit how we use it. We will answer within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes.

We will update this page when what we do changes. Last updated October 2026.
